Welcome to the 2019 Wyong River Ultra - hosted by Central Coast paddlers, and the first race of the PaddleNSW 2019 Ultra Marathon Series.

There are two Course lengths on offer, one of 17kms, and one of 30kms.

Note that only the 30km course qualifies for the PaddleNSW Ultra Marathon Series.

The Briefing for ALL paddlers will be at 9:00am.

To spread paddlers out across the course and bring people closer together towards the end, we would like to stagger the starts based on boat speed and offer paddlers the opportunity to self select the most appropriate Start group. All we ask is that you please choose your Start honestly.

For paddlers entering the 30km event;

If you are a regular Div 6/7 Marathon Series paddler (paddling at approx 10kmh or less), or a Dragon Boat paddler, you should enter in the 1st Start. (09:30am)

If you are a regular Div 4/5 Marathon Series paddler (paddling at approx 10.5kmh) you should enter in the 2nd Start. (09.45am)

If you are a regular Div 2/3 Marathon Series paddler (paddling at approx 11kmh) you should enter in the 3rd Start.(10.00am)

If you are a regular Div 1 Marathon Series paddler (paddling at approx 12kmh or more) you should enter in the 4th Start. (10.15am)


For paddlers entering the 17km event;

If you are a regular Div 12 Marathon Series paddler (paddling at approx 10kmh or less) you should enter in the 1st Start. (10.30am)
If you are a regular Div 11/10 Marathon Series paddler (paddling at approx 10.5kmh) you should enter in the 2nd Start.(10.40am)
If you are a regular Div 8 Marathon Series paddler (paddling at approx 11kmh or more) you should enter in the 3rd Start. (10.50am)
If you are a regular Div 9 Marathon Series paddler (paddling at approx 11kmh or more) you should enter in the 4th Start. (11.00am)

If you are not a regular Marathon Series paddler, please use the indicative speeds provided to select your Start.
