The MPA Manitoba Cup is a series of shorter distance sprint style races that takes place on the Red River right in Winnipeg. The race will begin at 10:00 AM at the Selkirk Canoe and Kayak Club (Dyke Walking Trail, in Selkirk Park in Selkirk Manitoba) on Sunday, July 28, 2019. Please arrive by 9:00 AM to sign in. This will be an excellent spectator event!

This race has different categories for men, women, and board lengths (14′ / 12’6″ and under).

By attending this event you can earn points for racing. By the end of summer, see how you stack up against the rest – awards and season champions to be crowned at the end of the season. See the 2019 SUP Cup Race Series Standings page for more information and current standings.

PFDs and whistles are mandatory as per Transport Canada regulations. Most of the waist belt style PFDs have whistles inside with the vest. Double check to make sure you have one. Board leashes MUST be worn at all times during the race or you will be disqualified.

There is no entry fee for this race. Specific race information packages will be emailed to registrants prior to each race with additional details.

The MPA Manitoba Cup is part of the Central Canada SUP CUP Race series put on by The Hardwear Co, Hardcore Surf and Paddle Co, Natri Bros, and the Manitoba Paddling Association. Great people that support the sport of paddleboarding in their communities.
