Race Info


The 2019 6 Hour of the Dinosaur is hosted by San Angelo Bicycling Association. The race takes place inside San Angelo State Park at the North Shore Pavilion. It uses a 9 mile loop on the north end of the state park utilizing Badlands, Riverbend, Scenic Loop, Shady and of course the famous Dinosaur trail. Ride either one-lap solo, 6 hour solo, or 6 hour team.

Entry Fees


Fees are $25 junior solo one lap, $30 solo rider one lap, $35 solo rider 6 Hours, and $65 team 6 hours. This includes T-shirt, meal ticket, entrance fee to park, and registration for extra prizes at end of rides. Extra meal tickets are $10 when registering on-line. Extra t-shirts may be available on day of race/ride.

New This Year


Fun team event for 2 or more riders who do not want to compete. Only two t-shirts and meal tickets for the Fun Team. Additional Meal tickets will need to be purchased.

Awards and Prizes


Awards will be presented to top three in each category except Open Category after race completion. Special Team Competition for Male/Female/Coed Teams whose combined age is 70 years old or above. Ebikes may be ridden but will not compete for awards.

Team Registration


Only one team member needs to register the team. There is an area to add your Teammate's Name, T-shirt size, and Date of Birth, but it will want full team payment.

Camping Fees


Overnight camping is available in the park however it must be scheduled and paid on an individual basis. The Race/Ride does not include any camping spots. Use of Campers in parking lot on day of race will be allowed at no fee as long as not connected to any park connections.

Miscellaneous


On site, same day registration will be available but a T-shirt cannot be guaranteed.
Same day registration closes at 2 pm. Race meeting at 2:15 and race starts at 2:30 pm. .
