COMPANY OF RUNNERS cordially invite you to strap on your drinking trousers and tie off your trail shoes to compete in a splendiferous scramble around Braintree & Bocking. We start you with the thrills of trail running, and then finish you with the spills of a brewery open day!

Your challenge should you choose to accept it, is to self navigate on a six-mile trail course in the highways and byways of Braintree & Bocking in association with the Bishop Nick Revelry Day.

This is a timed event with a start window between 11 and 11.30am. Competitors may start at any time within this window.

Please note that there will be one checkpoint on the route at the Bocking Windmill, which will be opened especially for this event, alongside the start and finish at the Bishop Nick Brewery.

There will be no entries available on the day, and runners are not permitted to run with dogs under UK Athletics regulations. This event is held under UK athletics rules. A Trail Running Association permit has been applied for. We cannot permit participants aged under 18.

The trail is a mixture of surfaces so trail shoes are recommended.

All abilities welcome particularly those new to trail running.
