Victorian Schools Canoe Championships for marathon and sprint.
Nagambie Lakes Regatta Centre, Loddings Lane, Nagambie, VIC 3608.

Three main boat classes:
(1) ICF (K1, K2, C1, C2) (n.b. Down river racers may enter as ICF class).
(2) Touring double blade (TK1, TK2, sea kayaks, skis, slalom, sit-on-top, etc.) and outrigger canoes
(3) Touring single blade (TC1, TC2, SUPs)
Portage for U16 and U18 ICF class boats (K1, K2, C1, C2). No portage for touring class boats.

Early bird registration closes 8th March at 5 pm. Registrations after this date will be subject to a late fee of $5 per paddler. No registrations after 5 pm, 14th March.

Race distances: Marathon: U12 & U14 3.7 km; U16 & U18 touring 3.7 km, U16 & U18 ICF 4.9 km. Sprint: 200 m (for all ages and craft type).

Age category for juniors (U12 to U18) is based on the paddler's age as of 1st January (i.e. to paddle U18 you must be 17 or under on 1st January; you can turn 18 during the year). Age category for crew boats (e.g. doubles) is set by the age of the oldest paddler for junior crews.

Course maps will be displayed on the day. Wearing a PFD is be mandatory for this event.

You may enter up to four events (marathon singles, marathon doubles, sprint singles, sprint doubles). There is a flat fee (early bird $35 for Paddle Australia members, $40 for non-members) for the day (one or more events).

Payment is by credit card, PayPal or EFT. No cash payments on the day.
