IMPORTANT NOTE: Skirennen will be held at the Icicle River Trails, the backside loop (due to low snow). Parking will be available at the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery for close access. In case of difficult weather conditions on Thursday or Friday, we may have to cancel the race. Thank you for your understanding.

WASHINGTON NORDIC CUP RACE SERIES
Skirennen is the 2nd race in the Washington Nordic Cup Race Series (wncup.org).

RACE DETAILS

All races will be classic technique.

To be scored as a participant in the WNC Series, skiers must follow the below distance guidelines. Any skier wishing to ski a distance different from their age-designated race will receive the minimum points score for that event in the WNC.

There are four race distances: Lollipop, 1.5km, 2.5km and 5km.

Lollipop: Untimed. Open to those who do not want to be in a timed race.

1.5km: U6, U8 and U10 (born in 2009 or later).

2.5km: U12 and U14 (born in 2005-2008).

5km: U16, U18 and U20 and Open (born in 2004 or earlier).

NOTE: You can't preregister for the Lollipop race but must do so day of.

RACE SCHEDULE

9-10:15am: Registration and bib pick-up
10:30am: 5km races in waves
11:20am: 2.5km races in waves
Noon: 1.5km races in waves
12:15: Lollipop
