Hi Racers! Please read the following information.

PFDs and whistles are mandatory Transport Canada requirements. Note that most of the waist belt PFDs have whistles inside with the vest. CHECK to make sure you have one. If you do not have a whistle, we will have a few for sale at the race ($5 each). Leashes are recommended (not mandatory for this race).

Wear/bring clothing/immersion gear suitable for the weather conditions on race day. Bring a change of clothes and keep on the beach or in your car just in case.

Online fees before 6pm on April 26 are $15 (1km) and $25 (3km/4km), PLUS GST
Onsite fees are $20 (1km) and $30 (3km/4km), INCLUDES GST
Youth Paddlers 17 and under $10 online before 6pm on April 26 and $15 onsite.
Youth Paddlers 10 and under in the mini-grom race are FREE.

Cancellation Policy:
Race fee refunded less $10 more than 48 hours before race.
No refund less than 48 hours before race.

***Note: The 1km race is FREE if you enter and pay for the 3km or 4km race. Contact Brian (braymer2@gmail.com) if you are entering both races as we will add you manually to the 1km race.***

Schedule of events (times are approximate):
9:30 – 10:00am – On site registration / check-in
10:00 – 10:15am – Racers' Meeting
10:15 – 10:45am - 1km Recreational and Competitive Race and 200m Mini-Groms Race (kids under 10)
10:45 – 12:45pm - Women’s and Men's 3km (Surfboards < 12' and Inflatable boards 12'6 and under 30" wide minimum) or 4km (Raceboard 14' and under)
Fun Relay – Time & weather permitting (super casual, form teams on site)
1:30 - 2:00pm – Awards and Draw Prizes

**BBQ starts at 11:45**
