The Upper Murrumbidgee Demonstration Reach (UMDR) Adventurous Volunteer Program engages volunteers to carry out environmental weeding and bush regeneration activities along the upper Murrumbidgee River accessing work sites via paddle craft.

The program is hosted by Bush Heritage Australia (BHA).

This PaddleNSW course will introduce participants of the UMDR Adventurous Volunteer program to paddle skills and white water rescue awareness techniques for self and group management.  The skills introduced in this course are a minimum requirement of Bush Heritage Australia's water policy for all volunteers participating in water-based activities of their associated projects.

Participants in order to complete the course must attend at least one of the series in full.
