Bringing Together the Strong, Weak, Thirsty, & the LARGEST BACKCOUNTRY SKIING RAFFLE



The annual COSMIC and SIA event is at Copper. For 2018, Jan 29th. Mon. This will be the first time it will be a sprint race and we're focusing on a more professional race showcase for the many industry folks that will be there.

There will also be an industry teams (brands at SIA) sprint relay race. Be sure to watch them battle it out against each other!

Entry fee donations received for both events go to the USSMA.



- INDUSTRY RACE = RELAY RACE TEAMS OF 3 -


This is a fundraiser event only open to SIA show attendees that form teams.

-The PUBLIC COSMIC race(individual) = SPRINT RACE


1 uphill, bootpack, and descent around 4 - 5minutes total.

The COSMIC race is open to all participants. Racers have 1-2pm for Open Qualifications - Time trial the sprint course as many times as you'd like to establish your best time. A $20 entry fee DONATION is requested – all donations received go to the USSMA.


Schedule:



11:30- 1pm EAGLE BBQ - Center Village - Check-in/Day of Registration

1-2pm Open Qualifications - Time trial the sprint course as many times as you'd like to establish your best time.

2-2:45pm Semi Finals & Finals - People with the top times from the Open Qualifications will be put into brackets to race Semi Finals. Top Semi Final finishers will move on to the Finals.

2:45-3:15pm Industry Team Relay - Industry teams of 3 people each. Start will be with one employee for each team. Race will be relay style tagging the next person on your team to go when you finish. First team to complete the course with all three people wins!

3:30-4pm EAGLE BBQ - Awards and USSMA Fundraiser Raffle
