Bladerunner 2 - for the Blue Rower


This is a fundraising event supporting The Blue Rower.

The Blue Rower is Isaac Giesen, an Arawa alumna who is putting it all on the line to Row 3000 nautical miles solo across the Atlantic Ocean to raise funds for the fight against depression. Check out this Stuff article.

So! While Issac toils across an ocean – lets do a Bladerunner to let him know we are behind him.
A blade runner is a Kayaking and running event, with two distance options to choose from;
1) Bladerunner Pro - 10km kayak & 7.5km Run starts at 9.00am,
2) Bladerunner - 4km kayak & 4km Run starts at 9.15am

Please register online - its super easy. Registrations close at 8.30am, Race Briefing at 8.45am.

Teams of two can compete as one paddler and one runner. Double teams can compete in a K2/double kayak and must cross the line together running. There is a link to the course map below.
