The:Longhorn Cyclocross Series will be held at the Chaparral Pavilion at the South Shore of the San Angelo State Park. The Longhorn CX Series is free to members of SABA and their families. Non-members may ride one event as a guest of SABA but must become a member to participate in the entire series. It is recommended riders use a cyclocross or trail bike for the series. Obstacles will be part of the course requiring dismount and remount of the bicycle. Event will be 6 laps on the CX course and ends when first rider finishes the 6th lap. All riders will complete the lap they are riding. Awards will be determined by overall standings in the four race series. Riders will self identify category. CAT A- Fast Riders, CAT B- moderate speed, CAT C-slower or beginner.
