Wicked Fun Race 2025! - Short Course

O Kalani Outrigger Canoe Club is bringing back the WICKED FUN RACE!

This spooky event will feature OC1/OC2/V1/Surfski Short and Long courses just off of Alameda Island. Wear a Halloween costume for extra cool points-and get extra, extra points for racing in one! CASH PRIZES for best costume! Hang out after the races and enjoy brats and Faction beer in O Kalani's yard! Brats are included with your race entry!

Event Schedule

8:00-9:00AM: Registration/Check-in

9:00AM: Race meeting

9:30AM: Short Course (4 miles)

10:30AM: Long Course (~10 miles)

12:30PM: Brats and $5 Faction beer served in the club yard.

Fees

V1/OC1/OC2/Surfski Race Fee: $30 solo, $60 OC2 team

Note for OC2 registration, only 1 paddler needs to register. 

Costume contest and awards in O Kalani's yard post races; CASH prizes for best costumes! 

SAFETY- Leash & PFD are mandatory to participate. (Type II inflatable PFD is acceptable) You must be able to remount your boat in the event of a huli.
