NSW Surfski Championships - Superbanks Showdown

Please note that ALL paddlers need to complete the Event Registration. BOTH paddlers in Double Skis need to complete individual entries.

Finishing off the series is the exciting Superbanks Showdown. Paddlers will enjoy the short course 13.5km or the long course 20km ocean events with all events finishing on the infamous Box Head (Superbanks) 1km wave.

Saturday 21st October @ 2pm is the 13.5km and 20km ocean events.

The 13.5km ocean event from Patonga Beach to Ettalong Beach or from Putty Beach via Maitland Bay to Ettalong Beach depending on the wind direction. 

The 20km ocean event from Patonga Beach to Palm Beach and finishing at Ettalong Beach or from the Haven, Terrigal and finishing at Ettalong Beach depending on the wind direction. 

If conditions are severe there is an alternative 9km course around St Huberts Island. There will be 1 lap short course and 2 lap long course available. 

Presentations for all races will be at 4:45pm on Ettalong beach. 

We take your best positioning result from either the 13.5km event or 20km event. The 20km competitors will receive slightly higher points than the 13.5km paddlers. Your points count towards your NSW Surf Ski Championship overall ranking.
