Ward Roney Jr. VFW Post 7511 was founded on January 6, 1968. For over 50 years, the post has offered camaraderie, assistance to veterans, legislative advocacy, support for military families, and community service including youth-oriented educational activities that promote patriotism. The VFW is a 501(c)(19) nonprofit organization dependent on charitable contributions from members of the public to move forward with its mission. A veteran must have served in a foreign conflict to be eligible for VFW membership.
