Dear Paddler,

This year’s Head of the Dart SUP Challenge 2018 will see the event take place on Sunday, April 15, 2018 starting in Dartmouth opposite Coronation Park and finishing at Totnes Rowing Club. Full details for the event can be found on our website

Important


To book your place at what is the first big UK SUP event in 2018, please complete the form below. If you are booking for multiple people, please ensure you have all details required (DOB, contact information, medical, board category etc) and that these are correct before paying. We will be unable to make alternations after the end of March.

Categories


Race Fleet - (12'6, 14' or N1SCO One Design) this is for anyone who is looking to paddle hard and race against other paddlers. Prizes available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, Men and Ladies.

Leisure fleet is the non-race fleet for anyone who is looking to complete the course as a challenge rather than racing other paddlers. This is open to everyone on all boards with bib numbers going into a brand prize draw.

As with previous years, we also have the “unlimited” category for anyone wishing to race on boards 14’ or longer. If we have more than 10 people enter we will look at awarding prizes.

For those looking for an extra challenge, limited availability exists to complete the event on a Dragon! Please contact headofthedartsup@gmail.com in advance to check Dragon availability.

Due to the nature of the event, no under 16’s are allowed to take part.

Entry Cost


To enter the event, it is either £35 for the race fleet or £30 for the leisure fleet. This includes a participation medal at the finish. A hot/cold drink and jacket potato can be pre-ordered for £4.50. NOTE: Jacket potatoes will not be available to purchase on the day, however hot/cold drinks will be available along with sweet / savoury pancakes.
