OH YE!; OH YE! : Calling all our veteran group riders. As you know, our rides require the skills, knowledge and dashing charm of our experienced riders; please attend (no advance sign-up required) an on-line 1.5 hour Rider Leader Training Session to gain whatever knowledge you may feel you don't have, and do your part to support the club's group rides.
FYI: even new riders not intending to lead a ride any time soon will learn a lot by attending a session. It's free. It's short. It's terribly exciting!
Dates: Apr 8 @ 7:00 PM. Apr 19 @10 AM. May 1 @ 7 PM.

On to the ride...
Hopefully the weather will be more inviting this week, as these rides were rescheduled from the cancelled April 6th outing.
Come on out and play "what's your name again?" as we get our Sunday rides underway for a new season, in which you replace the feeling of having your feet attached to long boards going forward and back, with that of your feet attached to things that go round and round. If you've been Zwifting over the Winter, this might be the first time to meet face-to-face some fellow-Zwifters; what a great time to reminisce about that too-quick descent from the Stelvio Pass and your med-evac by ZwiftAir and the time spent recovering in Zwift hospital under the watchful eye of you attentive Zwift nurse!
As usual; we'll be starting off shorter-n-slower -- let me re-phrase... your Sunday route master will be starting off shorter-n-slower -- and will be increasing the distance a little each week. A primary aim of the early season, aside from just enjoying the feeling of the wind on your nose and your ears flopping about, is to help members return to form for the Rideal Lakes Cycle Tour in mid-June.
I hope to see as many out as the Spring temperatures can motivate!
Bonne route!
REMINDER: group ride participajnts must have previously attended an OBC Group Riding Clinic (GRC).

NOTE: This year it is planned to have GRCs scheduled coincident with Sunday rides; that is,starting from the same place at the same time. Keep an eye on the calendar to see when the GRCs will begin. The grape vine has it that the first GRC is scheduled for Apr 20th, for which is planned an NRC Airport departure. I know that new members will be itching to get on the group rides. Stay tuned! In the meantime.
