Race notes
Tonight was quite a bit colder than previous weeks and a strong wind did not help matters. however, most riders did excellent times and can be well-pleased with their performances. Of the 25 starters, 10 were female. That's what the club likes to see at our weekly events.
Top honours as usual went to Don Gillmore, with Iain Hay finishing 2' 25" behind him and Dave Steen in third a further 2 minutes back. 4th. Overall and the winner of the women's category was Janna Gillick only 16" back from Dave. Lorrie Baildham was second woman, just over 2 minutes back from Janna.
In the youth categories, Meghan. Gillmore beat Abigail Hare by a shade over 2' and Brother Ian beat Aiden Hare by a much bigger margin.
Thanks to Glen Gordon for doing turn marshal duty while regular, John Hannon is off on a European River Cruise.
