Race notes
A miserable,rainy, cold evening, with a stiff east wind, greeted the 18 starters for MIVA's first time trial of the year. Steed Cycles' Justin Mark beat newbie Nick Kupiak by less than half a minute to win the men's category, with Menno Jongsma posting a short 24 minute ride. On the women' side, welcome returnee, Janna Gillick won by nearly 5 minutes from Debbie Epps in 24' 49", giving her 5th. Place overall her 5th. overall. 3rd. Was newcomer Sandy Przada in just over 30'. The only youth rider was Abigail Hare, 16, who 4th. in the female ranks.
