Location:
Blue Manna Boat Hire, 13B Dolphin Drive, Mandurah, close to the harbour and beach-front cafes. Bring the family for a great day out !!

Course Details:
As per maps, Short Course turns at Point #4, Guppy Course a circuit nearer the start.

Hazards:
STRONG WINDS [50km/hr Forecast]:
COME IN OCEAN SKI WITH PFD & LEG ROPE. IF COMING IN K1, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BUOYANCY
Complicated Course:
Slower paddlers will go off first and fast paddlers last to keep everyone together. One boat will go ahead and point out key turn points. Second boat will come up behind. Turns in the canals will be marked with paddlers wearing Hi-Vis. Paddlers who know the way will be wearing Hi-Vis
Boat Traffic, Choppy Water:
The course is mainly in the canals but there could be large boats in the main channel [short sections of race] COME IN YOUR OCEAN SKI UNLESS YOU ARE REALLY COMFORTABLE IN CHOPPY WATER
Canal Walls:
The locals say there is a step, below the water line, which will be good to stand on when getting back on, if you fall in.
Sun & Heat:
Wear protective clothing, apply sun block, bring water to drink
