Welcome to 2018 Ladies & Juniors K4 Championships & Novice

Race Courses

K4: Ascot Kayak Club jetty, paddle downstream, back of Ron Courtney Island, through Garrat Rd Bridge, left hand turn around buoy opposite Tranby house, return to Ascot on club side of island, finish at jetty [approx 11km]

Novice [Approx 4.4km]: Start AKC Jetty, facing downstream, paddle around back of Ron Courtney Island, left hand turn at lower end and return upstream, staying on right hand side of the river, to buoy near first spit post, left hand turn around buoy and spit post. Paddle back around Island and buoy/spit post to finish at the jetty paddling downstream. Finish after 3rd rounding of buoy/spit post .

Ensure vertical & readable both sides. Number slots with suckers on sale $15
River Hazards:
Boat traffic, Oncoming boats at Fish Market Reserve
Sun & Heat:
Protective clothing, sun block & water to drink
