Hello paddlers,
I would like to welcome you to Currumbin Capers, Race 4 of the Pacific Coast Marathon Series hosted by the Currumbin Creek Paddlers Club.
For those new to the marathon series, you are required to attach your race number to your craft. For our Kayak paddlers hopefully you have a race number holder built in to your craft where you can easily secure your number. For our SKI, SUP and OC paddlers you will need to attach your number using tape or a number holder.
An easy way to make a number holder is with a pool noodle:
1. Cut a 30-35cm piece of pool noodle in half and then,
2. Cut a 20-22cm slit in the middle for your number to sit.
Once you have checked in, you can attach the number holder with your rear cargo straps and add some tape along the sides of the number holder to help secure it to your craft.
Please ensure you have and bring the required items (Pool Noodle, Tape and Scissors) to attach your number.
