Race noter
The conditions were fair with winds starting around 5mph & picking up mid-race to about 8-10mph.
Long Course racers started first, heading west & circumnavigating Lake Virginia, with an additional .25mi leg & near 180 degree right buoy turn towards the finish line, completing 3 mi total.
The Short Course racers also headed west, hugging the shoreline to the south shore, made a left buoy turn at the halfway point & came back following the same route, completing 2 mi total.
