Racers completed a technical buoy course with a water start/finish, wherein the first turn they could choose to go left or right around the respective buoys, then merge together to complete the same course with 5 turns at varying angles. The Amateur course paddlers completed 2 laps for 2.1mi & the Distance Progression course paddlers completed 4 laps for 4.2 miles.
