Happy Valentine’s Day,

Well done to everyone who raced yesterday in flat, fast and warm conditions. It was good to see so many sticking around for the Valentine’s Day His & Hers Race pizza and prize giving and the pizzas were courtesy of Pololi the Hawaiian Poké Shack - http://pololikai.com/ and Combo Capo - https://www.facebook.com/combocapo/.

The Valentine’s Day His & Hers results are attached - it goes to show that Blind Dates do work/win – well done Francesca and Tatjana.
Also a special mention to the Maloney Ohana with 2 of the 3 kids racing: Aran raced ski on the Short Course and Tadhg raced SS2 with his dad on the Long Course.

Thank you to those who volunteered and helped with registration, race timing, support boats, iPad magic, and the post race pizza and fruit punch – Imei, Bettina, Ingrid, Julia, Collin, Jo, Vlad, Rebecca, Tatjana and Olivia.

Race 3 of the 2016 VRC Race Series is on Saturday, 5 March, and the race distances will increase over the coming races.
