The 4th Annual G20 Paddlefest takes place on July 5, 2025, features the tour of ghost lake, which is a 20km distance course that will circumnavigate Ghost lake, and will be open to all paddle craft (SUP, Prone, Kayak, Canoe).
The 10km course covers the first section of the lake before turning back.
Later, after everyone has had a chance to rest up and socialize, the tech race begins near the start/finish line. This will be an 800meter course with a seated water start, 7 buoy turns, and a water finish. There will be two heats starting at 12:00 and 12:15, and a final at 12:45. Everyone will be split up into the two heats with the top four women and top four men from each heat moving onto the finals.
NEW for 2025: "The Jack Morris Classic" will also take place this weekend on Sunday, this is a river course starting in Exshaw, in the Rocky Mountains and head up and back on the beautiful Bow River. This slow moving section of water is emerald green and features some beautiful scenery. You won't soon forget this course! The distance is about 10k.
