On behalf of Paddle Queensland and the Canoe Sprint Technical Committee, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2023 Paddle Queensland State Canoe Sprint Championships at the SYC Oxenford Watersports Centre.
Paddlers from eight to eighty (and beyond) are encouraged to be part of a great weekend of Sprint paddling across events ranging from 200m to 1000m and LD races of 2500m and 5000m. Regardless of your chosen craft or ability we encourage you to enter and take part in the Championships.
Friday will see students paddle for their place on the podium at this year’s School Championships. Saturday will see the 500m racing and Sunday will see the 200m, 1000m and LD racing.
Entry Fees:
Juniors:Early Bird - $50. Standard - $70.
Seniors:Early Bird - $65. Standard - $85.
Masters:Early Bird - $65. Standard - $85.
Veterans:Early Bird - $55. Standard - $75.

All paddlers must register separately.

As part of goals to improve the registration process, each paddler will be required to create a webscorer account in 2023. Key reasons for this decision include:
• Enables the option to allow participants to edit their own entry after registering
• Ensures consistent name spelling across multiple events (required for results series)
• Saves time for the participant to sign up for your next event
