On behalf of Paddle Queensland and the Canoe Marathon Technical Committee, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2023 Paddle Queensland State Canoe Marathon Championships at the SYC Oxenford Watersports Centre.
Paddlers from eight to eighty (and beyond) are encouraged to be part of a great weekend of paddling across events ranging from 2.5 km for our Under 10s, to 20 km for our U23s and Opens.
Regardless of your chosen craft or ability we encourage you to enter and take part in the Championships.
Friday will see students paddle for their place on the podium at this years School Championships,
starting with singles at 9am and doubles at 12pm across events ranging from 2.5 km to 10 km.
Saturday morning will see the return of Short Course racing starting at 9am for Kayaks, Canoes and SUPs. Following our first session we will return to racing with junior double events starting at 11am and after lunch return for the U23, Open, Master and Paracanoe single events starting at 1pm.
Sunday morning will see the U23, Open and Master double events starting at 9am. Following our first session we will return to racing for the final session of the weekend with junior single events starting at 11am.
Entry Fees:
Juniors:Early Bird - $50. Standard - $70.
Seniors:Early Bird - $65. Standard - $85.
Masters:Early Bird - $65. Standard - $85.
Veterans:Early Bird - $65. Standard - $85.

Standard entries close 11:59 PM 16 June

As part of goals to improve the registration process, each paddler will be required to create a webscorer account in 2023. Key reasons for this decision include:
• Enables the option to allow participants to edit their own entry after registering
• Ensures consistent name spelling across multiple events (required for results series)
• Saves time for the participant to sign up for your next event
