This is the Entry portal for the 2023 Marathon Series.
This is also now the entry portal for the 5 Race 2023 Junior Series, open to all Junior (U10-U18) paddlers who are "New to Marathon" paddling and who have not paddled in a regular Division race previously. "New to Marathon" events are offered at Woronora, Penrith, Swallow Rock, Narrabeen and Makai.
"New to Marathon" Juniors will paddle a course of 3 x 1km laps, ensuring that they are for the most part within view of their families and spectators. Just as for the main Series, paddlers will earn and accumulate points from each race, with Series Winners being recognised at the final race of the Series.
Here you can enter one or more, or even all races in the 2023 Series. If you enter and pay for more than 7 events in one registration process, you will receive a discount on each event entered. EG: If you enter 7 races, you will receive a discount of $7:00 per event entered (a total discount of $49:00 for the Series) If you enter 8 races, you will receive a discount of $8:00 per event entered (a total of $64:00 for the Series) 9 races entered = a discount of $9:00 per event ($81:000 for the Series) and 10 races entered = a discount of $10:00 per event ($100:00 for the Series).
If you only want to enter one race at a time, as per previous years, that's fine, and you simply select the one race that you wish to enter, from the list below and complete your entry as normal. Return to this same page to enter any subsequent races later in the Series.
Note that Refunds are not able to be provided under the Discounted Series Entry registrations. Where possible, every effort will be made to transfer any un-used entry to another race in the Series, however Transfers will not be made into another Series. For event and paddler insurance purposes, all paddlers must hold an active Paddle Australia membership or pay a Paddle Australia Single Event Non-Member Fee per event entered ($20 for a senior and $10 for a junior). Non-Member Fees will be charged as part of the registration process. Alternatively you can join Paddle Australia/NSW ($80 for a senior and $40 for a junior) by selecting a Club on the Club Finder map in the Paddle Australia Membership & Events System (HERE). This will give you insurances 24/7 worldwide for 12 months. Start: Div 7-5 @9.30 Div 1@10 usually
