Dear Paddler,
Each of Bray Lake’s Summer Series events is a stand-alone race with the May & June being on the river, before a technical beach, super lap and distance. . We know some of you will approach it with a little apprehension at first so we will also run regular coaching sessions through the season and a mix of event types to cater for all from complete beginners, novices and the more experienced paddler.
Racing really shouldn’t be seen as intimidating, it’s just about getting around a course, with other people and having some fun.
To help with the organisation of the series and to remove some of the manual overhead, we would appreciate paddlers registering in advance.
As an added incentive, we are offering discount by booking the whole series in advance:
• Booking in advance – Members £5 per race or Non Members £10
• Booking whole series (5 events) you will get one event for free!
You will still be able to register & pay on the day however this will cost £10 and you’ll need to allow some extra time.
We will be also be making an effort to start briefings at 10am sharp for each race and would encourage anyone who is wishing to take part to arrive at the latest by 09.30am. This will then allow those that are running to a tight deadline to participate as well.
