-> RACE DATES: 28th April 2017 (Prologue Seeding); 29th April 2017 (Long Course and Short Course Main Events); 30th April 2017 (Weather Day, in case incliment weather precludes racing on Saturday).
-> DESCRIPTION: The 2017 Giltrap|VW Auckland King & Queen of the Harbour will be brought to you by Pacific Ocean Paddlers on 28th & 29th (30th) April 2016, and doubles as New Zealand’s iconic national Ocean Racing championships, as well as race number one for the 2017 World Surfski Series. The event also traditionally features SUP and Waka-Ama categories, and will see the Auckland Harbour and the Hauraki Gulf play host to the best Surfski, SUP and Waka-Ama paddlers this country has to offer, along with some pretty solid international competition. Now in it's 16th year, we are excited to introduce a 12km NZ Prone Championships and short course event, brought to you in partnership with NZ WATERMAN STORE, where a number of elite and amateur prone board paddlers from around the world will vie for the coveted Waterman Trophy on the latest DEEP designed boards.
