We are pretty excited for this one...come out and join us for our May installment of our Free 5k Fun Run Series on May 15 - The Tacky Prom 5k!!!

Come out and join us for our Tacky Prom 5k Fun Run on Sunday May 15, 2016. Dig in your closet, your parents', even your grandparents' closets and pull out your tackiest, wackiest and frilliest prom attire and come out for a fun run through town on the St. Michaels Nature Trail. This is going to be F-U-N!!

As always, there is no registration 'fee', but we will be collecting a donation for a local cause. May is Melanoma Awareness Month, and melanoma is a disease that has affected many people in our local community, especially those who work outside starting before sun up and don't get home until after the sun goes down. We are asking participants to please donate a bottle of sunscreen, and everything that is collected will be given to the local watermen's association.

On-site registration will begin at 7:30am, and the run will start at 9:00am. Please plan on arriving to the shop no later than 8:30am so that you can receive your bib and complete the required liability waiver. Parking will be available at St. Michaels Elementary School.

Once again, the Fun Run winner(s) will be determined by who guesses their finish time by the closest margin! Anyone within 10 seconds of their actual finish will be considered a WINNER!

Word on the street is that we will then be having our own 'PROM' at Eastern Shore Brewing immediately following the Fun Run! There will be music, dancing, and discounted beer!!
