The Water for People 5K is back for Spring 2026! Race Day is Saturday, March 28th!
We are excited to welcome runners and walkers of all ages to support our mission and enjoy a beautiful morning 5K race with us!
The Water for People 5k is hosted by the local Water For People Arizona Committee and supported by AZ Water Association.
Water For People is an international non-profit organization devoted to helping people in developing countries improve their quality of life by supporting the development of locally sustainable drinking water and sanitation systems and providing training and tools to these communities to maintain those systems for generations. All proceeds will benefit Water For People.
Early registration is $40 until Jan 30th and then $45 after. The 5K race includes a medal and T-Shirt. Race Day registration is $50 and shirt sizes will be limited at that time.
The Kid’s Lollipop Run is Free for participants and begins at 8:45 am.
There will be early packet pickup on Friday, March 27th from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Sole Sports - Arcadia 4730 E Indian School Rd. #125 Phoenix, AZ 85018.
On race day, check-in will open at 6:30 am and closes at 7:30 am.
The 5K race starts at 8:00 am, so please arrive early! The race is chip timed with age group awards in 14 categories. Water and snacks will be provided.
The flat canal course is located at AZ Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018 with overflow parking located at the Prince of Peace Lutheran church 3641 N 56th St, Phoenix, AZ 85018, just North of the park off 56th Street. Maps can be found at RunYourRaceAZ.com.
The event is both dog and stroller friendly, but the course does include a short trail section that is not on pavement. We ask that you start near the back to avoid trip hazards please.
