Echuca Mini Marathon, from Barmah to Echuca (Moama Beach)
Each paddler must register individually.
This event covers part of Day 3 of the MMP course. There are three distance options. Full distance (48km), Relay (48km) or short distance (MMP Checkpoint C to Moama Beach, 18km). The relay has three legs (12km, 18km and 18km).
Full distance and Relay check-in at Jack Edwards Park, Barmah from 6am. Volunteer briefing 6:30am. Competitor briefing 6:45 am. First start 7:15 am.
Short course check-in at Checkpoint C (old D) from 9:30 am. Competitor briefing 10:15 am. First start 10:45 am.
The aim is to have all paddlers finishing reasonably close together and off the water by 12:30 pm to simplify on-water safety near Echuca (given the presence of power boats and jet skis).

Safety requirements - Wearing an approved PFD is madatory for this event. Paddlers will also need a mobile phone in a waterproof pouch, a pea-less whistle attached to their PFD, an emergency blanket (e.g. pocket sized foil), and a dry bag with a change of warm clothes (e.g. a thermal top). Paddlers aged 15 years or younger, and paddlers requiring assistance re-embarking following a capsize, must be accompanied by a competent adult paddler.
N.B. Unfortunately due to an joint announcement by PA and AOCRA in April 2022 OC6, V6 and V3 craft are not permitted to attend this event.
