A brand NEW cycling event in the heart of Palmerston North!
If you enjoy riding a bike and are at least 10 years of age, this event is for you!
A criterium, in a nut-shell, is a multi-lap, spectator-friendly cycling event on a short, closed, technical circuit.
Schedule
4:45pm - Registration opens
5:20pm – Race Briefing, all riders must attend
5:30pm - 10-12 year-old (Boys & Girls) (~10min race)
5:45pm - 13-17 year-old Boys (~15min race)
6:05pm - Women & Girls Only (~15min race)
6:25pm - B Grade Men (~15min race)
6:45pm - A Grade Men (~20min race)
WARMUP - For safety reasons you will not be able to warm up on the course during racing. You are welcome to bring a trainer or warm up on the roads around the venue.

Venue & Circuit
Entry and parking is via Gate 1 (Waldegrave Street). If you arrive early you may be able to park on the grass behind the timing trailer. All other parking is on any of the Arena car parks.
Riders complete as many laps as possible in a given time. Approx. lap distance is 600m, direction is clockwise.
