TruStrength Skimo Race Series - Participant Waiver and Release of Liability

1. Assumption of Risk: I understand that ski touring is an inherently hazardous activity that involves known and unknown risks including, but not limited to, falls, terrain hazards, wildlife encounters, adverse weather, and physical exertion. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur as a result of my participation.
2. Release and Waiver: I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release and hold harmless TruStrength, event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, landowners, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in the Event.
3. Medical Treatment: I consent to receive medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, or illness during the Event. I understand that I am solely responsible for any related medical costs.
4. Fitness to Participate: I affirm that I am in good physical condition and sufficiently trained to participate in the Event. I will not participate if I am ill, injured, or otherwise unfit to do so safely.
5. Rules and Conduct I agree to abide by all rules and directions provided by event organizers and staff. I will act with respect for other participants, the environment, and private/public property.
6. Media Release: I grant permission to TruStrength to use photographs, video, and/or audio recordings of me for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation.
7. Minors: If signing on behalf of a minor, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian and agree to all terms of this waiver on their behalf.
