Competition Site: The Stevens Pass Nordic Center is located on U.S. Hwy 2, five miles east of the summit of Stevens Pass. The Biathlon Range is a 3km ski from the Nordic Center - walking on trails is prohibited.

  - Do not buy a trail pass, it is covered in your entry fee.
  - We provide bottled water at the range but there is no food service.
  - As the races run from morning into the afternoon it is a good idea to bring food and hydration.

Eligibility: This event is open to all biathletes who have completed the USBA Rifle Safety Course* along with one volunteer day with WBA or completed Assessment. For racers under 14 years old, additional shooting training is required.

*USBA Rifle Safety Course is a two part safety course, please find Part 1 at:
https://center.usbiathlon.org (Education, U.S. Biathlon Courses, Basic Rifle Safety Course).

Please email info@wabiathlon.org with your completion certificate to arrange Part 2 (Assessment) and your volunteer day*.

The USBA "Red Book" is no longer valid.

Volunteers: Always needed. This is an excellent way for those new to the sport to see a race at the closest possible vantage and to learn about how a competition functions. Score keeping is also very easy. If you would like to assist Contact the Chief of Competition at bob.vallor@wabiathlon.org.

Spectactors: We love spectators, but be aware it is a 3km ski uphill to the range. Walking/Snowshoeing on ski trails NOT allowed.

Range Setup: Early arrival at the range is encouraged to help with range and course setup. Please do your part and help with set-up before the event on Saturdays and break-down on Sundays.

Rifles: Rifles will be available for those without their own - rifle assignments will be given at check in.

Lodging: With a few exceptions the nearest lodging is in Leavenworth, 30 miles east of the Nordic Center. www.leavenworth.org
