Christmas Celebration following the race
Following the run be sure to hang around for an awesome Community Christmas Celebration that’s sure to get you in the holiday spirit! We will make merry with food, music, kid’s activities and all things Christmas. Come enjoy some homemade chili and chocolate desserts. It’s guaranteed to be a fun event for all ages as we ring in the Christmas season!
The race will be held at Kingdom of Hope, 7570 15th Street Road, Concord, Alabama 35023. The 5k run starts at 8:00 AM (CST) with a cut-off time of 9:30 AM. The Kid’s Dash (ages 4-11) begins immediately following the 5k. All dashing kids (ages 4-11) will receive finisher medals. Parents and/or Guardians dash for free with a child registrant.
Show your Christmas spirit by wearing your most festive holiday gear and jingle, jangle, joggle as we dash away, dash away, dash away all!
Registration includes a swag bag and on-course refreshments.
Our DJ, M.C. Fossil, will be there live and in person spinning some awesome tunes to run by!
Registration fees and donations will benefit Hope Inspired Ministries (H.I.M.) serving unemployed individuals by preparing and equipping them to obtain, maintain, and excel at employment. Come run and help others excel!

A T-SHIRT IS INCLUDED WITH ALL REGISTRATIONS (KIDS TOO) IF REGISTERED NO LATER THAN 11/21/2025
Entry fees for 5k:
$25.00 per runner starting 9/13 – 10/5
$30.00 per runner starting 10/6 – 11/21
$35.00 per runner starting 11/22 – 12/12
Kids Dash entry fee is $10.00 through December 12 2024
DAY OF RACE REGISTRATION FEES (CASH ONLY):
Entry Fee 5k $40.00
Entry Fee Kids dash $15.00
The course is a flat and fast out and back loop on a small, picturesque community road and will be closed and monitored by law enforcement. A big thank you to our awesome Jefferson County Sheriff's Department who work hard to keep our community and citizens safe!
WE OFFER A $25.00 T-SHIRT ONLY OPTION SO YOU CAN SLEEP IN AND STILL SUPPORT AN AWESOME EVENT!

Pets at the Race:
Pets are welcome to participate. All pets must be on a leash. Please clean up after your pet. The actions of the pet are the responsibility of the pet owner/caretaker.
Strollers at the Race:
We allow strollers at the 5k event. If you are participating with a stroller and/or children, we ask that you keep your children with you at all times. For the child's safety, we ask that during the 5k, the child stays in the stroller until crossing the finish line. Strollers are not allowed to participate in the kids dash event.
THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT. NO REFUNDS. All race entries are non-transferable and non-refundable. The event will occur rain or shine, hot or cold. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In the event of a cancellation, there will be no refunds. Entry fees will be considered a donation to Hope Inspired Ministries.
Awards will be presented immediately following the Kids Dash. Prizes will be presented to the overall top male finisher and the overall top female finisher. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finisher medals will be awarded in male and female categories for age groups: 12-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and above. Overall and age group awards will not be duplicated.
