XC Series 2025 - Round 2

NOTE: The rego & start hub is about 1.3km up Groom Creek Road.  Park in the Groom Creek Carpark and continue biking up the road until you find our crew!

Welcome to Round 2 of the 2025 Cross Country Series racing is back on the new Cross Country Trail in the Maitai Valley. The XC Course (stage one) will race through the hand built sections of this new course and we'd love to have you there to test it out.  

Race Two - Groom Creek XC including the recently completed additional sections.

Meet:  At the Groom Creek Carpark, just before the Maitai Camping Ground.  You will need to bike (1.3km) to the course from the carpark.  Please note there are no toilets on site.

The NMTBC Cross Country series is a great event for first time racers, families and those who are cross country gurus! The course/number of laps will be adjusted for different age participants. Please register on-line before 8:00pm the day prior to racing.

Entry fee paid on the day in cash only: $20 for NMTBC members, $40 maximum per family. E-bikes welcome, not eligible for trophy prizes.
