RCMBA Road Trip to Newport, OR

Join us on yet another fun road trip to check out some new trails and meet up with another great trail organization doing the hard work to bring more trails to their community. The Newport Trail Stewards (NewTS) have been working hard to bring more recreational opportunities to their community. First it started with the Wilder Trails, which was in partnership with a private land owner on some undeveloped land that they had on the south side of Newport. More recently, they have partnered with the City of Newport to add trails at the Big Creek Reservoir. These trails were opened in 2022, and they are they fast, fun, flowy goodness on that reigning supreme Oregon coast loam.
