Event notes

LET’S PADDLE SINGAPORE !

Let’s Paddle Singapore is a community focused Outrigger Canoe Experience held as part of the Singapore Ocean Cup — Southeast Asia’s biggest and most technically challenging ocean paddling championship.

This unique event invites members of the public to get a hands-on introduction to outrigger canoeing, set against the stunning waters of Sentosa and Singapore’s Southern Islands. Participants will have the rare opportunity to paddle not only in the traditional six-man canoe (OC6), but also to try out the 12-men outrigger canoe (V12) – a large and dynamic canoe that emphasizes teamwork, rhythm, and connection with the ocean.

Guided by experienced paddlers, participants will learn basic paddling techniques, water safety, and the cultural heritage behind the sport. While elite athletes tackle intense currents and complex race strategies in the main championship, Let’s Paddle Singapore opens the doors for all to experience the thrill, camaraderie, and beauty of ocean paddling in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
