Course is ~17km, out and back
Start & Meet Bike Manawatu Timing van on Makino Road near the top of Lethbridge Street
Registration 8:15am
Race briefing 8:45am – all riders must attend
9:00am Start, first rider off
Cyclists to assemble on verge with parking towards town against railway line.

Registered School Cyclists (Year 7-13): Your entry fee for all Bike Manawatu events in Terms 2 and 3 is covered as part of your Schools Cycling fees/Bike Manawatu membership (except Manfeild 6 Hour Challenge and Novice Tour). Please enter your school name when registering for this event.
*** Riders in School Years 5 & 6 are required to have a parent/mentor ride alongside them.

Senior members & non-members $10

This is approx 17km out & back individual or teams time trial
The event starts on Makino Road near the top of Lethbridge Street

Follow Makino Road for 9.13km
9.13km Cyclists to give way / stop to traffic, obey marshals – U-turn (when it is safe to do so) and return on Makino Road
Finish on Makino Road at the corner of Reids Line West, at the Bike Manawatu Timing van. – for timing purposes only
Cyclists to tour back to start in Feilding
**Cyclists MUST obey NZ road rules, all roads are open to the public normal road rules apply. Cyclists must give way / stop at right turns – No crossing center lines, riding 2 abreast only – Riders who bring a volunteer / road marshal ride free.
It is extremely important all riders obey these rules**
