BIZZY B 5K 2025
On Saturday November 8, 2025 the eigth edition of the Bizzy B 5K walk/run takes place.
This is a race that has a walking and/or running part that will take place in the Bottom towards Wells Bay road and back. This course will be done twice to get the distance of 5 kilometer. The organization for this event is completely done by Jochem Batstra, in name of Event 66, who for this event received an event permit from the Governor of the Public Entity Saba.
In marking the checkbos for this participation statement, I confirm:
1. that I am 18 years or older, or that I am the legal guardian of the minor that wishes to participate, in which case all statements are made on behalf of the relevant minor;
2. that I do not have a physical or mental predisposition that could endanger myself or others when participating;
3. that I am aware that participating in the Bizzy B 5K carries significant risks of (serious) property damage, personal injury or even death due to the exposure to many environmental conditions and risks which independently or in any combination with my activities or those of others may cause (serious) property damage, personal injury or even death;
4. that I will take personal responsibility to ensure personal safety and the safety of others by taking precautionary measures including, but not limited to, following the tips provided during the safety briefing and ensuring proper maintenance of the required equipment to participate in the Bizzy B 5K;
5. that the Public Entity Saba, Bizzy B and all persons involved in the preparation and execution of the Bizzy B 5K in the broadest sense are not in any way responsible for my safety or the safety of others while participating in the Bizzy B 5K, whereby I agree to waive any and all claims for damages in the broadest sense which I may have due to an incident during the Bizzy B 5K or after due to my participation in the Bizzy B 5K and that I will furthermore hold harmless and indemnify the Public Entity Saba, the organizers, Bizzy B, and all persons involved in the preparation and execution of the Bizzy B 5K in the broadest sense for all incidents that occur due to my participation in the Bizzy B 5K;
6. that I acknowledge and agree to allow my photograph, likeness and/or voice to appear in any documentary, promotional (including advertisements), television, radio or film coverage of the Bizzy B 5K without compensation or further notice, and I agree to assign all copyright or other interests to The Bizzy B 5K; and
7. that I have read and that I also understand the consequences of signing this participation statement.
