Canada Day 5K Trail Run

Thunder Bay Metre Eaters Canada Day 5km Trail Run takes you through the trails starting at Kinsmen Park in Trowbridge Falls located in Thunder Bay venturing onto the Adventure Trail, cutting into the Blue trail until it changes to the Yellow trail in Centennial Park finishing along the river just before the Expressway, where you will turn around and head back to cross the bridge into Trowbridge once again heading to the finish line.  A Map will be emailed out to all registered particpants prior to race day and the course will be well marked with volunteers at strategic spots to ensure you don't take a wrong turn.  It is a timed event for all ages who would like to take on the the challenges of trail running..  Walkers are welcome and will start 15 minutes prior to runners.  All participants in the 5km run will receive some swag at kit pick up and a medal upon completion of the run/walk.  This is a family friendly event.  This year we have added a kids free fun run that allows our smaller partipcants to choose either a 50M or 400M option  in Kinsmen Park with Canada Day Swag presented at the completion of their run.  So wear your redest or orange running gear and help us celebrate Canada Day on our trails. Donations to Black Sheep MountainBike Club are encouraged for trail maintenance and development.
