Welcome to the 10th ANNIVERSARY of the mighty Clarence 100 !!! .....and this year also incorporating the Big Clarence PaddleBoard Classic (hence the "BIG Clarence 100" )
Please take time to read the notes below carefully.
There are notes specific to each event.
Each event hasentry options..
For those entering the Clarence 100, you can choose from the following:
1) Full Distance - Individual, Double or Multi Paddler craft - The iconic Clarence 100 (actually 105.7km) where you paddle each stage of each day in full.
2) Full Distance - Relay (Paddle each day) Each stage is divided into 2 legs (total 6 legs). Each relay paddler must paddle 1 leg of each day of their choice. Relay teams can compete as single, double or multi paddler craft. (paddle each day but half the total distance)
3) Full Distance - (Dynamic Duo) This involves 2 seperate boats of the same craft class,(either a single or double) working together as a DUO to finish the course. Each paddler OR paddlers in each boat must complete the full distance . The Finish time of each boat are then Combined to create a total dual time result . This option has no age restrictions. Entering as part of a Dynamic Duo team excludes the boat from any other award category, irrespective of over the line finish placing. This Dynamic Duo option is great to promote the concept of team building and is a new concept to our event. Contact organiser for clarification of this option if required.
4) Single Stage - Individual, Double or Multi Paddler craft - Paddle just one, or two, of the three days (but not all three). Suited to the paddler who is time poor, or paddlers who have concerns about their ability to paddle all three days, but who still want to be part of this iconic event. Select the day or days that you want to paddle and pay accordingly.
