Paddle Logger Falmouth Bay Open: 2025 British National Championships
The 2025 British National Championships, incorporated into the Paddle Logger Falmouth Bay Open, is the premier UK SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) and Prone Paddleboarding event on the national calendar. Join us for two days of high-level competition, novice racing, junior events, and international team selections. The championships will be contested across three core disciplines: Distance, Technical, and Sprint.

Event Communications – MANDATORY ACTION:
The Buccaneer Sessions App will share all critical event information, race-day updates, Race Director communications, and details on appeals/protests.
All participants MUST download the Buccaneer Sessions app and join the relevant event "Session". This is the mandatory platform for all GBSUP event communications.
Consider it your go-to place for all important details you'll need on event day.

Kit Zone: Located next to the Event Village.
Kit Drop:
- Timings: From 07:30 on both Saturday and Sunday.
- Location: Queen Mary Rd, Falmouth TR11 4DP (W3W: ///cook.hardly.client ). Please drop your board over the fence onto the grass (check the gates are open first) and then return to move your board to the Event Village and designated Kit Zone.
Car Parking: Gyllyngvase Long Stay Car Park (W3W: ///chained.offer.traps ).
Parking Charge: £10.50 for 24 hours (hourly and weekly rates available ).

This event will host selection races for:
Team GB (ICF) (Selection Policy)
Team England (ISA)
Key Selection Points:
- Selection races will be held in Distance, Technical, and Sprint disciplines.
- To be considered, athletes must compete in the 14' Hardboard Open or Prone Paddleboard fleets. Juniors within the U17 age group are eligible.
- Athletes may choose to enter all races or a specific race they are competing for selection in.
- All paddlers within the 14' Hardboard, Prone Paddleboard, and Junior U17 fleets will be considered for selection.
- Selection is based on the first past the post for the individual races.
- Please note: The selection criteria are subject to confirmation and may change following the published selection criteria from Paddle UK and Surfing England, respectively.

Saturday:
Distance Races Adult National Championships: Approximately 10km
Challenge Tour & U17 Juniors: Approximately 5km
U14 Juniors: Approximately 2km
AquaPaddle: Approximately 5km (A fantastic opportunity for grassroots participation!)
Nippers Activities: Fun and engaging activities for the youngest paddlers.
Sunday:
Technical & Sprint Races Adult National Championships (Technical): Approximately 4-5km
Challenge Tour & U17 Juniors (Technical): Approximately 2-3km
U14 Juniors (Technical): Approximately 1-2km
Adult National Championships (Sprints): 150m two heats to a final
Nippers Activities: Continued fun for the little ones.
Provisional Course Details:
Your Paddler Race Pack will include detailed race course maps, specific distances (e.g., extended Distance, multi-lap Technical, 200m Sprints), the number of laps, and other course-specific information for the event disciplines. It will be released closer to the event date. Please monitor the Buccaneer Sessions app for notifications regarding the release of the Race Pack.

- Morning Activities: All morning activities, including early check-in, Junior Nippers, and AquaPaddle, are cancelled for Saturday morning.
- Junior Nippers: No Junior Nippers on Saturday.
- 12:00 - 12:45: Afternoon Check-in (Event HQ - GBSUP Main Tent)
- 13:15: Distance Race Briefing (Event HQ - GBSUP Main Tent)
- 13:30 - 15:00: Distance Race Start Window (Course and start time may flex to best conditions; event will not start later than 15:30 if suitable conditions cannot be found).

Tickets and Registration:
For this 2-day Championship event, participants can choose a weekend ticket covering all relevant races for their category. Your ticket includes entry to all eligible Championship races (criteria dependent on your fleet).
Upon registration, you must choose your fleet and complete all relevant details accurately for championship and selection consideration. Once registered, you will receive your event pack with essential information.
Paddle UK Member Discount: Paddle UK members receive a special discount! Adult members get 10% off their ticket price. For Junior members, all competitive and non-competitive junior categories are FREE OF CHARGE! Please see your Paddle UK membership Portal for details on how to apply your discount during registration.
