East Hawaii Challenge

The East Hawaii Challenge will be held on Saturday March 22nd at Bayfront Park, Hilo.  

The race includes two courses a 12 mile Long Course and a 8 mile Short Course. Depending on conditions, the race will be from Waiuli (Richardson Park) to Bayfront Park

Race Day Check-in is 7:30 to 8:30 am at Kamehameha halau Bayfront Park

Race Meeting at 9:15 at Richardson Park and the race will start after the meeting.

There will be a pāʻina after the race.

Register and payment online through WebScorer.  LATE REGISTRATION begins Wednesday before the race at 8 PM.

REGISTRATION CLOSES FRIDAY, March 21th at 6 pm. No registrations will be allowed the day of the race.  

Fees are $20 for members and $35 for non-members. A $15 late registration fee will apply to all adults after 8 PM March 19th.

Canoes must have numbers on both sides at the bow. Paddlers without a number will be assigned one, which they can pick up at check-in. Paddlers that have already been assigned a previous temporary number should register with and reuse that number.
