Kona Coast Challenge

The Kona Coast Challenge will be held on Saturday February 1st at Honokohau Harbor, Kailua Kona. 

The race includes two courses a 8 mile Long Course and a 6 mile Short Course. The courses will depend on conditions.

Race Day Check-in is 7:30 to 8:30 am at HIPA halau.  Race meeting is as 8:45.

There will be a pāʻina and awards after the race.

This year the race will benefit Keoua Canoe Club

Register and payment online through WebScorer.  LATE REGISTRATION begins Wednesday before the race at 6 PM.

REGISTRATION CLOSES FRIDAY, January 31st at 6 pm. No registrations will be allowed the day of the race.  

Fees are $20 for members and $35 for non-members. A $5 later registration fee will apply after 6 PM Wednesday.

Canoes must have numbers on both sides at the bow. Paddlers without a number will be assigned one, which they can pick up at check-in. Paddlers that have already been assigned a previous temporary number should register with and reuse that number.
