Bald Mountain Loop

The ride will start promptly at 10:00 a.m. from Taylor Way near Fish Brothers in Blue Lake. There will be a rider meeting at 9:50 at the registration table. At the start/finish line we will have hot coffee, fresh seasonal fruit, and Los Bagels is continuing their support with a bagel donation. Please bring your own coffee cup.

Route description: The ride will start on Taylor Way in Blue Lake and go through Blue Lake to Korbel and up Old 299 through the mill site. It will be a neutral start all the way to, and through the mill site. We will go through the mill as a group. Once through the mill all bets are off. From there the riders will continue up to Lord Ellis Summit and turn right onto Snow Camp Road. About 1.8 miles up Snow Camp Road the route will divert back onto Green Diamond property and will be marked with a Banana Slug sign. Banana Slug signs will be posted for the route through GDRC roads. This bypass will take riders back to Snow Camp Road/Bald Mountain Road and down to Maple Creek Road. At this junction, riders may opt to cut the ride short and turn right onto Maple Creek Road which will take them back to Korbel and Blue Lake. Riders wishing to do the full ride will turn left at Maple Creek Road and continue to Ward Road and GDRC property. This portion of the route will be marked with Banana Slug signs as well. Follow the signs all the way back to Korbel and finish the last couple miles back to Blue Lake.

Please be self sufficient and know your limitations; there is no event support along the route.
