Steve Berengue and Scott Ferry Memorial Race

The Steve Berengue and Scott Ferry Memorial Race will be held on Saturday January 11th at Honokohau Harbor, Kailua Kona.  This is the first race of the Spring Season.

The race includes two courses a 8 mile Long Course and a 5 mile Short Course. The courses will depend on conditions.

Race Day Check-in is 7:30 to 8:30 am at HIPA halau

Annual Membership Meeting will at 8:45 and the race will start after the meeting.

There will be a pāʻina and awards after the race.

Catering provided by Killer Tacos.

Register and payment online through WebScorer.  LATE REGISTRATION begins Wednesday before the race at 6 PM.

REGISTRATION CLOSES FRIDAY, January 10th at 6 pm. No registrations will be allowed the day of the race.  

Fees are $20 for members and $35 for non-members. A $5 later registration fee will apply after 6 PM January 8th.

Canoes must have numbers on both sides at the bow. Paddlers without a number will be assigned one, which they can pick up at check-in. Paddlers that have already been assigned a previous temporary number should register with and reuse that number.
