Turkey Trot 10K/5K

8th Annual Turkey Trot 10K/5K Thanksgiving Day - Thursday November 28th 2024 @ 7:30am Mabank Pavilion Awards for the Top 2 finishers in each Male/Female category of: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Over

Registration is $5 to help us cover costs. 

10K Runners: We will offer a 10K distance, but if we do not have enough participants, everyone will run the 5K only. 

Turkey Trot 10K/5K information, instructions, and announcements. Please read entire post carefully before the race:

1. IF INCLEMENT WEATHER EXPECTED we may delay the start time if necessary. Dress accordingly and be prepared. WE WILL RUN RAIN OR SHINE!
2. Please arrive early to get your bib so we can start the race at 7:30 am, late arrivals can put us behind. Check in and bib pick up will start at 6:50 am. You may register up to 7:15am on Race Day online. We will have a table under the pavilion for check in. 
3. Make sure you have Hydration plans set. We will have limited water available, make sure you come with some and be prepared. RESTROOMS will be open. 
4. Please review the course maps prior to the race on the Facebook page. The course will be marked with painted arrows on the roads. Keep in mind this is NOT a closed course, you will need to watch for cars and traffic. YOU ARE RUNNING AT YOUR OWN RISK! All runners must finish by 8:50am or your time may not be recorded.
5. When you finish, make sure your BIB is facing in FRONT and the number can easily be seen. If not seen, your time WILL NOT be recorded! Once you cross the finish, do NOT run back through. Failure to do this will disrupt our timing.
6. Both Races will start and finish at the same spot, next to the pavilion restrooms on the park trail.
